Adelaide’s own Rodeoboy, a rising Kenyan-Australian artist with ties across three continents — Kenya, the USA, and Australia — is making waves in the underground scene with the release of his latest single, “Five More Shots.”
Known for his gritty blend of grunge trap, emo trap, and rage beats, Rodeoboy channels raw emotion and melodic chaos in every verse. His new track takes listeners into a visceral spiral of heartbreak, self-reflection, and unfiltered energy — a signature of his evolving sound.
With influences ranging from iann dior and Trippie Redd to Zillakami, Denzel Curry, and even heavy-hitting bands like Polaris, Rodeoboy isn’t afraid to blur the boundaries between rap, punk, and alternative genres. His music doesn’t just ride a beat — it crashes through it with vulnerability and rage.
“Five More Shots” is more than a song. It’s an anthem for those teetering on the edge — emotionally, mentally, and spiritually — and looking for a way to scream through the silence.
As part of the growing Afro-diasporic creative scene in Australia, Rodeoboy represents a new generation of artists unafraid to push boundaries, cross cultures, and tell stories that resonate globally.
