Kenya’s High Commissioner to Australia, Hon. Wilson Kipngetich Arap Kogo, joined distinguished diplomats, scholars, government representatives, and business leaders for the 3rd Edition of the Australia–Africa Dialogue, held at the Melbourne Business School under the theme “Connecting Global Africa.”
The high-level forum — organized in collaboration with Emerging Brand Africa — provided a platform for thought-provoking discussions on how African nations and Australia can strengthen cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, education, innovation, sustainable development, and climate resilience.
In his address, Hon. Kogo underscored the importance of strategic and deliberate partnerships that leverage the shared strengths of both regions. “Africa and Australia share immense potential for cooperation,” he stated. “Through purposeful collaboration, we can accelerate inclusive growth, promote innovation, and ensure sustainable prosperity for our people. Our shared values of resilience, enterprise, and partnership must continue to guide us toward a better common future.”
He commended the efforts of Emerging Brand Africa and Melbourne Business School for hosting the forum, noting their continued role in building bridges between Africa and Australia.
Kenya, he reaffirmed, remains steadfast in advocating for deeper Africa–Australia relations, positioning itself as a gateway to emerging markets across the continent and a trusted partner in innovation, trade, and sustainable growth.
This engagement reinforces the growing diplomatic and economic ties between the two regions and underscores Kenya’s role as a leader in advancing meaningful Africa–Australia collaboration.
