KIQ Men’s BBQ Fest: A Night of Conversations, Connection, and Celebration
The recently concluded KIQ Men’s BBQ Fest was an evening to remember! It was more than just a social gathering; it was a platform for meaningful conversations about financial health, mental well-being, and the everyday challenges men face.
The highlight of the evening was an insightful talk by guest speaker TC Mhlanga, a Certified Financial Analyst, Chartered Holder, and Chartered Accountant. He shared valuable knowledge on financial planning and stability, leaving attendees inspired and better equipped to take control of their financial future.
Father Felix Alex Munyao also delivered a powerful speech, reinforcing the importance of resilience and community support. His words resonated deeply with the audience, sparking thoughtful discussions throughout the night.

Beyond the discussions, the event was a feast for both the mind and the senses. Attendees enjoyed a delicious spread courtesy of Upendo Catering, while DJ Reggie set the perfect atmosphere with great music. The energy remained high with lively dancing and engaging games led by the charismatic MC Dennis, CEO and Coach Ken.
A special thank you to James Waithaka, Chairman of the KIQ Men’s Council, and his dedicated team for putting together such a successful event. Their hard work provided a safe and supportive space for men to engage in critical conversations while enjoying a night of camaraderie and entertainment.
This event underscored the importance of creating opportunities for men to connect, share experiences, and support one another. We look forward to more gatherings that continue these essential discussions and strengthen our community.
